The Colombaio (The Dovecote) is located on the northern slopes of Monte Amiata. The river Vivo is just a few steps from the house and can be heard flowing through the stony riverbed. It is a secluded place, immersed in the woods, cool, airy.

We are very near the thermal bath areas of Bagni San Filippo, Bagno Vignoni and San Casciano dei Bagni. We are also just a few kilometers from places of historical and artistical interest of the Val d’Orcia: Pienza, San Quirico, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Castiglione d’Orcia, Rocca d’Orcia, the Sant’Antimo Abbey.

The house can host up to twelve people in five guest rooms. There are two big living rooms with fireplaces, an equipped kitchen and two bathrooms.

The Colombaio is an ideal place for nature lovers, large families, or groups who needs a secluded place to perform collective activities. There is a room suited for yoga seminars, meditation, tai chi, qi gong, shiatsu, or olso theater or musical workshops or other things.
